Review of Nine (2009) by Kali K — 10 Feb 2013
I can't believe I'm saying this but the moment I heard D. D-Lewis' Italian accent I stopped caring about the film. Honestly all I could think of was the Count Dracula from Sesame Street. By the time Fergie made her appearance... I was gone baby, loooong gone.
The only redeeming aspects of the 20 minutes I was able to withstand were naturally Judi Dench (her "Folies Bergeres" number was great), Marion Cotillard (and I'm not even that big a fan) and the body of Penelope Cruz (as soon as she spoke...). I like Kate Hudson. I'm disappointed I wasn't able to last until Nicole Kidman made her appearance.
