Although the movie tries to be stylish. The should get points for this, the story line falls very short, as a 90's Japanese cyberpunk movie..... saturated and flooded movie market of extistential movies. This like most Sugar candy pop songs of the late 90's came out WAY TOO LATE, everyone has moved on. This would have made sense before Gattaca, I Robot, and AI.... Sadly it came out too late and burried... worth a view for cult classic or curiosity.
A young doll named 9 awakens in a strange labortory in a devestated world, he encounters others like him as they unravel the exisential mysteries of how he came to be.
