Review of Nina's Heavenly Delights (2006) by Max A — 26 Feb 2007
While there were interesting characters, such as the typical flamboyant drag queen best friend and the weirdo loud tv show host(i liked how he desperately tried to salvage the food on the frying pan; made me lmao), I HAVE to complain about the serious lack of "flow" in the sequencing, not to mention the awful intonations.
I understand that it's portraying Indians living in Scotland thus the Scottish accents but half the time, it turns into slight British for me, if not gibblish. and while the general plot was good, the scriptwriter would have done well if only he or she had devoted more quality scenes that shows feelings of loss for the father and the gentle moulding of the attraction between Nina and Lisa as I found both factors in the movie to have been inadequate.
