Nikita stars as Anne Parillaud, a young drug addicted criminal who gets involved in a deadly shootout and gets sentenced to life imprisonment but the government fakes her suicide and starts training her to be an assassin for them.
Luc Besson is one of the most visually stunning directors around (I am sooo looking forward to "From Paris with Love" ) and I think La Femme Nikita is one of his best action/thriller spy movies from the 90's, it's sexy and stylish! Well worth a watch.
