Review of Nikita (1990) by Daisy M — 22 May 2010
Lunacy and governmental issues collide in what is Luc Besson's best film. The typical plot of transforming a common person into a top-secret assassin spy marks the difference between Hollywood's masquerading of lack of talent with mindless action and French solid substance that immediately justifies a quality action-oriented thriller. Anne Parillaud is at her best and not even Jovovich could surpass her gourgeousness and insanity in The Fifth Element (1997).
78/100.
