I kept putting off watching this movie since I knew the lead character of the movie Leon, was based on a character from this movie. So I expected a lot from this Luc Besson film. Unforunately it didn't deliver.
I was expecting and hoping for a strong female lead, maybe with some moral dilemmas. But instead got a feisty, childish lead who's hard to like. Not to mention a story that never really goes anywhere in particular.
Extra half star for the character "Victor" who would eventually be re-imagined as Leon though :).
