Nothing much to see here folks, move along, move along!
Greenaway normally offers up something that's worth sitting through but here there's little or none of his usual flourishes. I felt like I was being forced to watch an amateur theatre production with actors overegging purely because they knew they were in a Greenaway. It picks up in the second half but the chances are you will be asleep by then.
