Planet of the Apes (1968).
Planet of the Apes is one of the Sci-Fi classics. Throughout the whole movie, I was constantly wondering what would happen next; it really did a great job in pulling me in. The ending was also spectacular!
Rating: 93/100.

City of God.
City of God totally blew me away. I had been hearing great stuff about it for a long time, so I finally checked it out. I'm definetly glad I did, it's probably one of the best foreign films to come out in the last decade.
Rating: 90/100.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God.
Aguirre the Wrath of God is a fascinating movie. It follows the expedition to reach the El Dorado. Throughout the whole mission, they encounter a numerous amount of problems and face death straight in it's face. The musical score is very good and adds to the overall feel of the movie. This is the only Herzog I have seen, but it makes me want to watch more.
Rating: 92/100.

Nights of Cabiria.
Federico Fellini has failed to dissapointment. I have seen three of his movies but they have all been excellent. Nights of Cabiria was just as good as the others. The story was very interesting. I can't wait to check out more Fellini films.
Rating: 97/100.

Lonesome Dove .
Lonesome Dove is easily one of the greatest Westerns ever made. Robert Duvall does an excellent job at playing the character Gus, and truly makes him one of the most memorable characters around. Even though this weighs in at six hours, the time flys by quickly and you find yourself wanting more.
Rating: 100/100.
