Review of Nights of Cabiria (1957) by Caleb M — 18 Mar 2008
I didn't love this quite as much as La Dolce Vita, but then again it is only the second Fellini film I've seen so far. Giulietta Masina is great: expressively funny and sad, a great actress in a very emotional role.
She also has the abilty to look beautiful and happy or extremly worn and unruly, often in the same scene. There are some very interesting themes on trust, faith, truth, beauty, and love.
