Review of Nights of Cabiria (1957) by Olaf K — 08 Oct 2008
It's that rarest of films: hugely entertaining and extremely tragic. Fellini's wife Giulietta plays a perky prostitute with a good heart who is still tough and cynical for self protection. Will it be enough to save her? Watch it and prepare to be overwhelmed if you've never seen it.
