Review of Nights of Cabiria (1957) by Cameron A — 29 Nov 2008
This strange movie seems to have sexual behaviourism turned upside down -- the men are the manipulators, and Cabiria falls fowl to all of them. It's a strong film...Neorealist or something, and makes you feel for the main protagonist.
As always with Fellini, there's an ounce of folly which I cannot understand; the last scene is an enigma...until I watch it again.
