Review of Nights in Rodanthe (2008) by Maryann O — 14 Aug 2009

The critics didn't think much of this movie and I didn't know what to make of it before hand. I watched it in between doing reports and caught some interesting scenes of fairly good acting with Diane Lane and her daughter as she explained her grief.

I guess what struck me the most was the remembrance of things past as I watched her have her romantic interlude with Gere and reminded me of what it was like so long ago. It helped to resurrect some good memories and even though it fits the "chick flick" genre I got something out of it.
