Review of Nights in Rodanthe (2008) by Sofia A — 03 Apr 2010
Not fond of it, in the least bit. First off: um, yeah, it is impossible to know you've found your soulmate in one night, or one weekend. Second: I'm about tired of Richard Gere acting the SAME role over and over and over.
..he's not that good looking and why on earth should everyone think he's irresistable? Third: I began wondering somewhere after the first hour which one of them was going to die. I know that's terrible, but this being a Nicolas Sparks story, and that seeming to be his favorite ending (death of a loved one) I was highly suspicious.
..and it didn't disappoint me obviously. Since I was already expecting it, it didn't strike me as being as sad as it probably would have had it been a surprise. Shrug. I didn't like The Notebook either; so shoot me.
