I had read the book so I knew the plot but it was long enough ago that I forgot the details. Probably never would have seen the movie but we just took a vacation in Rodanthe and I like pointing out "we were there".
Anyways, movie wasn't very good. If I did see those places to point out I probably would have been bored.
