Review of Nightmare City (1980) by John P — 02 Dec 2007
A plane lands, and a buttload of zombie things exit the plane and kill everyone in a city. That's pretty much it. What makes this film worth watching is how bad it is. Molotov cocktails are powerful enough to blow up buildings.
Television sets double as high explosives when thrown. Every woman character that dies has their breasts exposed in some way. People are stabbed with fake knives by "zombies" with mud all over their faces.
It's pretty hilarious stuff. The best part is the interview with the director on the dvd, where he compares his movie to movies like Philadelphia (a man's struggle with AIDS) and poorly describes his movie as a piece of art.
More like piece of fart, M I RITE!??!1.
