Review of Nightmare Alley (2021) by Beardedyoda — 17 Dec 2021

Nightmare Alley is a beautiful looking, well shot, well acted, and detailed film with a lot of interesting concepts. But the plot of the film just was not up to par. Nightmare Alley's plot felt very disjointed, at times feeling like its overall narrative was going far to fast for its own good.

I found this odd, as the movie also felt far too slow during its second half. All of this is a tad frustrating, as I do very much like del Toro's other work and can see the effort in this film.
