Review of Nighthawks (1978) by Annelies S — 27 Jan 2011
Revolutionary flick. London end of the 1970s, underground where homosexual men could breathe out and be themselves. In normal life they had to pretend and - as shown in this movie - even fear to get sacked because of talking about their sexual inclination. This movie's subject is very interesting but the script is quite boring as well. And the soundtrack? The worst repetitive synthesizer disco I have heard in a long time.
Good thing is the lack of taboo. Not to be watched by conservative people.
