Review of Nightcrawler (2014) by Codayop — 04 Mar 2015
Excellent acting from Gyllenhall, playing an ambitious character who wants to get ahead, by any means necessary.
Landing the role of a "Nightcrawler" he is first to most criminal scenes as reported by police scanners.
Great photography, some of the camera shots during car chases were stunning, as was the driving. None of this **** where the other cars on the road all drive at 15mph while the main car dodges carefully in between. These shots were full on.
One of the very few films where I was left wanting more at the end.
Looking forward to Nightcrawler 2.
