Review of Nightcrawler (2014) by Alexander K — 31 May 2015
One of Jake Gyllenhaal's most brilliant performances. The whole movie is like a overwhelming sociology class. Trying to figure out what his motives are, seem next too impossible. If he put that much effort into all of his films there's no doubt in my mind, he would be one of the best actors of our generation.
The plot is original and keeps you on the edge of your seat, in a very bizarre way. The cast play feed off of his energy in a most exciting way. I would recommend this film to anyone tired of the monotonous remakes and bland storylines.
