An energetic, visceral, dark, and disturbing knockout of a film. Jake Gyllenhaal gives his best performance to date in a truly transformative, jarring role. I've never seen him like this before, and he absolutely kills it.
the other talent here is Dan Gilroy. he expertly directs here with stunning imagery and also wrote the script which is fantastic in its own. Nightcrawler was one of the best films of 2014 and one of my upmost favorites of that year.
