Jake Gyllenhaal plays Lou Bloom, a creepy sociopath bent on becoming a videographer of crime scenes. He's willing to destruct anything in his way. Gyllenhaal turns out a chilling performance with a lot of depth.

We actually believe Rene Russo, who plays a TV Producer, isn't into Gyllenhaal which we all know in real life couldn't be true! The news scenes are authentic and while the picture takes jumps that aren't always realistic, and are more convenient for continuity reasons, this is a fine film that should capture the audience.
