Review of Nightcrawler (2014) by Wade W — 06 Feb 2017

There's a darkness that you come to know exists but is so rarely captured although often reviled and reveled in. Jake Gyllenhaal captures a character so far removed from convention that you feel immersed in a darkness that might make you question your very own moral compass.

When does the viewer become a participant, I found myself asking making me feel an accomplice to atrocity if only by fascination. a movie watching experience that I would less likely pair with popcorn but more likely a cathartic shower.
