Gyllenhaal proves his superstar status yet again with another thorough performance. Nightcrawler is intense as it is fun to watch. With a well orchestrated screenplay and a deliciously dangerous character at its center, Nightcrawler leaves the viewer begging for more, never once refusing to ingest and accept the film's American-dream-twisted themes.
