'Nightcrawler' isn't the most riveting thriller you'll ever see, but it's a very good effort, and there's handful of tense scenes. Needless to say that Jake Gllyenhall is sublime in his role as the creepy, narccsacistic, sociopath nightcrawler, and carries the film with a first rate performance and dialogue to boot.
The supporting cast are also very good, with the attractive in spite of her years Rene Russo, putting in a nice performance/appearance, though this is first and foremost Lou's creepy, distrubing, story.
Jake Gllyenhall is really making a name for himself as an underrated great actor. 4/5*.
