Review of Nightcrawler (2014) by Ray S — 31 Jul 2017
Jake Gyllenhaal is a freak as Lou Bloom and this is one of his best performances of his career. The real highlight is Dan Gilroy's brilliant, thought provoking script and his dark and thrilling direction.
A dark horse in the film was Riz Ahmed's performance as Rick the innocent partner that could be the foil to Bloom's character or something much, much more.
