Jake Gyllenhaal is barely recognizable as a gaunt, bug-eyed man without any moral compass who joins the world of the "stringers" who scour the gritty LA streets for video footage he can sell to TV news stations.
How appropriate that I watched this on Halloween, because it gave me the creeps, particularly because this manipulative monster suffers no consequences for his despicable and criminal actions.
