This was a huge disappointment; maybe because I had read Barker's excellent novel before watching the movie so my expectations were too high, or maybe because I expected something as powerful as HELLRAISER.
Brings to mind the case with Stephen King's books, whose screen adaptations are almost always inferior to the written original.
