Review of Night Train to Lisbon (2013) by Raewynne P — 07 Dec 2013
Ive just returned from seeing this film. After visiting Lisbon I was keen to see some of the beautiful parts of the city in the screenplay and I was not disappointed, the bright sunshine and panoramic vistas across the city, as well as the river and bridges, brought back happy memories.
Getting into the story of the uprising in 1972 was also very interesting and the realisation that I was a teen at the time brought home the trials the Portuguese people have been through, in this lifetime.
The storyline was gripping and the interactions between the actors was liberating. I loved it, definitely worth seeing.
