Review of Night Terror (1977) by Allan C — 10 Apr 2012
Rarely do I find a movie with no redeeming value, but this is pretty darn close. The story is dumb, the screenplay is lousy, and the direction stinks. Valerie Harper is pursued by a sociopathic Vietnam vet for hours on end for no good reason.
It alternates between her being too dumb to get away or call someone and him being too stupid to kill her one of the many chances he has to do so. Any chance to enjoy the settings is destroyed by it being set almost entirely at night.
