Review of Night Shift (1982) by Rodney E — 31 Jan 2013
This was one that I have seen bits of pieces of over the years but still wanted to see it in it's unedited glory. I finally watched it and it is one of Ron Howard's better efforts. Sometimes it feels like a TV sitcom, which isn't too bad considering Winkler is a TV icon.
I like Henry Winkler and think he did a pretty decent job here but it is Michael Keaton who steals the show as the energetic schemer working with Winkler at the morgue. This reeks of the early 80's and that can be a mixed bag as it comes off as cheese but is still a pretty good product of the time.
