Beautifully crafted and made. Though some dialogue didn't exactly made any sense, and the character development between Giovanni & Campanella wasn't as smooth, but it was certainly a brilliant movie.

If you were to put this movie with all other typical Japanese animation films (including Studio Ghibli), it's actually quite as distinguishable as all the Ghibli films. You can tell the difference and all that.

The weirdest part of all for this movie would probably be the end credits, where out of nowhere someone talks about something which doesn't exactly make any sense, and you wouldn't even know which character is actually doing that talking.

The pace of the movie is just too uneven, too slow for the 1st 30 minutes, slightly too fast at some points and so on. yeah. Little flaw here and there. This must probably be this film's director's first film.

A little polish and it'll do the trick. This film has all the makings to be a classic but sadly only 1/8 people today only know this film and among them maybe around 2/4 watch it. But I know this film will arise again someday, and when it does I know it'll capture the hearts of many from young to old.
