Review of Night on Earth (1991) by Fabrizio M — 25 Nov 2007
Jim Jarmusch at the peak of his early work. quirky, effortlessly entertaining & with his uniquely 'global', multicultural perspective that really characterizes his first few film. five short pieces of taxi journeys in various cities around the world- ranging from a couple of absolutely charming tales of the human condition through to Roberto Bernigni's motormouth Roman Cabbie- delivering very possibly the funnniest half hour of cinema I've ever seen.
Great soundtrack by Tom Waits too..
