Review of Night on Earth (1991) by Reeta J — 12 Mar 2009

Wow, it came from the bushes for me too (as for some other Finnish viewer here in Flixter, apparently :P)! I was enjoying all of the episodes almost as much. I was laughing out loud while watching the New York episode; the brilliant Finnish actors in the Helsinki episode also thrilled me; the scenes from Paris were quite amazing; Roberto Benigni's comical face and speech of course gives at least a smile on one's face - even though him fussing around might be too much to handle sometimes.

Winona behind the wheel of the L.A. cab was also surprisingly fascinating to see, she was sucha a young talent back those days. There's smth for everyone in this film - even for a critical film "digger" like me :).
