Review of Night on Earth (1991) by Volo M — 15 Jun 2010

A movie that wants to embrace the world as just a group of relatable people spinning around on the same globe. But each segment is too superficial to accomplish that goal -- and that's a rarity for a director that has a fair grasp on realism.

I doubt that the movie could even keep its multi-lingual audience entertained, even as a we-are-the-world hat trick. This is Jarmuch's most shallow work.
