Very faithful and overall solid remake to the original. Tony Todd was the perfect choice for Ben. with tom savini directing this, you'd expect it to be a bit gorier, but you can probably blame that on the mpaa.
the ending is an interesting deviation from the original, though nowhere near as powerful. yet, I'm glad they choose to film a new ending.
