Review of Night of the Living Dead (1990) by Spike M — 01 Nov 2009
A remake of the 60s film that introduced movie fans to two things that would change horror, The flesh eating ghouls and George Romero. This film did a good job of following its original. I think it did a good job of sticking to the original story and in some spots clarified some things from the first movie.
Not as gory as some of Romero's works and remakes, but still did a good job of frightening the viewer, and in my opinion a very good piece that left you glancing over your shoulder and swallowing hard as peeking through the curtain into the night.
