Review of Night of the Living Dead (1990) by Eamon M — 23 Jan 2010
This film was made in order to get Romero and crew some cash after giving up rights to the original. Bearing that in mind Director Tom Savini nicely updates the film with a well rounded cast and excellent new special effects.
It lacks the social and political commentary of the original but packs a punch as a straight horror film. Also Tony Todd is excellent!
