Review of Night of the Living Dead (1990) by Ehaarer12 H — 28 Apr 2010
Tom Savini's remake of the George A. Romero horror classic is actually a pretty enjoyable movie. It remains pretty faithful to the original in terms of story, conflict, and the feeling of claustrophobia between characters as they fight off the undead; but besides the incredible make up and effects, what makes this remake stand out is that one of the main characters, Barbara, is given a updated look and characterization, and it's a actually a welcomed progression.
