Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Sr?An K — 18 Mar 2011
This is actually a fine film. Black & white suits it perfectly, the setting feels strangely realistic and the story never lets the tension drop - however :) the acting is bit on the funny side (still better than what passes for oscar performance nowadays though :)), non-existant special effects, make up and music are downright silly even for a NO budget flick and all together coupled with slow pace makes for a much lower rating than I'd be prepared to give 40 years ago, or even 20.
