Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Andrew K — 11 Nov 2012
Well what can I possibly add that hasn't been said already? Some people will hate this because it's low budget, and doesn't have the best actors at its disposal, and - crime of crimes! - it's black & white.
It's also poorly edited (the jump-cut in the cellar scene springs to mind) and doesn't sound great. The "colorized" and 30th anniversary versions are cack. And yet none of this detracts from the intelligence in the script and overall genius behind it.
So nah.
