The one zombie film that started it all & thus set director George A. Romero as a horror legend, "Night of the Living Dead" is just an amazing horror film. A lot of tensions in the acting & atmosphere, followed by creepiness of the zombies themselves, & some gore that would foreshadow many zombie films to come.
Without a doubt, "Night of the Living Dead" is THE best horror film of the 1960s & one of the best films of that decade & of the horror genre!
