Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Johnny C — 06 Oct 2010
This film is surprisingly effective despite its flaws. Probably the most atmospheric horror film ever made, the excellent use of colour, music and imagery mean that it retains a horrific sense of dread throughout.
However, it is much more racially than sexually progressive, some of the character actions are suspect and there are a number of plot holes.
