Review of Night of the Demons (2009) by Bri L — 29 Dec 2010
Unecessary? Maybe. Inept? Sure, I can give you that. Crafted by a team of terminally unimaginative filmmakers? You betcha.
Adam Gierasch's Night of the Demons, though it made several self conscious nods to its predecessor, had none of the elements that made the original so fun. In fact it was just a steady stream of awkward, unsure references to the 1988 original. Which is not all that surprising when you take a gander at the resumes of the collective talents behind it.
At least it had a good, if stock, soundtrack.
