The soundtrack is fantastic and there are quite a few awesome homages to the original film, but overall it fails to deliver the same kind of feel as the original. They tried to hard to make it a horror-comedy which completely turns me off.
They added too many unnecessary story elements and didn't add certain important plot points. Overall, this could have been much better.
