Review of Night of the Demons (2009) by Al M — 25 May 2011
This remake of a little known cult-classic horror film is about as a crappy as a film can be, but it is entertaining nonetheless for those who enjoy craptastic horror. Featuring a cast of washed up or never-was actors and actresses (Shannon Elizabeth, Diora Baird, and Terminator 2's Edward Furlong), Night of the Demons is a blend of Porky's-style sex humor and zombie-film levels of gore and mayhem.
Funny, cheesy, and somewhat twisted (demon orgies), Night of the Demons is an unnecessary, forgettable, and utterly derivative and crappy film, but it is fun and entertaining nonetheless albeit in a mostly MST3K kind of way.
