Review of Night of the Demons (1988) by Michael D — 24 Mar 2008
A must watch fixture for a horror movie marathon night with friends. Campy as all hell, with dialog straight out of the 60's (sprinkled with liberal use of the F-word), but the actors are so committed to it that it never grates the nerves.
In terms of tone, if not quality, it really reminds me of the original Evil Dead. While I wouldn't call it a horror-comedy, it never takes itself seriously.
