Review of Night of the Demons (1988) by Jeffrey L — 19 Sep 2008
I really don't see why this is a classic. The few good things that there are consists of awesome Demon make-up on the teens that get possessed, and it had a tiny bit of really creepy atmosphere at times, and I wasn't expecting the coward black guy to last as long as he did.
The acting and dialog is wretched, the movie isn't nearly as gory as you'd expect, all the characters were cardboard cutouts with no characterization at all, and it seemed to have been made while the writers read 'Teen slasher Movie-Making 101'.
