Review of Night of the Demons (1988) by Tish — 14 Mar 2009
My friend Justin just reviewed this movie so I'm going to as well. When I first watched this I WAS expecting the demons to have scarier voices, which bummed me out. That being said this movie IS fun for more than one reason.
1. The make-up was done very well for the era it was created. 2. Great moving to watch on Halloween. 3. Had pretty good gore effects. 4. Had an extremely creepy atmosphere at times. 5. If you watch it by yourself in the dark it's pretty scary.
6. The acting is horrible(I think that means it's funny). 7. Of course Linnea Quigley's breasts are a staring role in it. I thought this movie was kind of dumb the first time I watched it(aside from the fact I thought it was creepy) and it is dumb, but it still makes it's purpose known.
..never spend the night at Hull House, cause' you WILL get possessed and kill your friends. Great show.
