Review of Night of the Creeps (1986) by Matthew K — 12 Jun 2008

I'll never quite be able to explain why I haven't seen this yet but for the sake of blaming someone else, I'll point the finger at this not being on DVD yet. I had two major reasons for wanting to see this movie BESIDES the fact that I've heard it's a cult classic in everything from geekscape episodes to Fangoria's 101 best horror movies you've never seen and those reasons are 1) That I'm told that Slither (My vote for best horror movie of the 2000's) is strongly based on this movie and 2) It's the directoral Debut of Fred Dekker writer/director of one of my all time favorite movies ever The Monster Squad.

This is what b-horror is made off, it's tongue-in-cheek but not too firmly in cheek, it's got some awesome make-up and lots of fun dialouge and gore.
