The movie has gained a bit of a cult following, which is both easy and hard to see why. It's fairly cheesy with the earmarks of dumb 80's horror all over it, but it isn't much more than that.
I can think of a number of other 80's horror flicks that are on the same level, which makes this one no better no worse than any of those.
